Utah is ahead of the Cowboys in both polls.
Its funny how we can be the 2nd highest ranked Big12 team but picked to finish 3rd or 4th in the big 12 but also have the best odds to make the playoff, yet still have the 5th best odds to win the conference championship, ect. I’m sure not all of those are exactly right but you get what I mean.

Like any preseason poll, I take them with a grain of a salt. Always said that polls shouldn’t come out until after 4 games have been played, but it gives us fans something to talk about.

The only thing the preseason polls are good for is a paycheck for poll creators and TV revenues created from game match ups among those leading in the “polls”. There is nothing of value beyond that that I can see.

Preseason polls are about like non ny 6 bowl games. The only people who care are the ones who know that’s the best they can do.
