Oklahoma State Still in Good Position to Land Four-Star Forward J.T. Thor

Thor appears to be down to OSU, Auburn and UCLA.

I think Thor>Haarms. JT completes our roster. He could be a 3, 4, or 5 anytime we want. Can you imagine our big lineup? Not that we would but we could go:

Cade 6’6"
Keylan 6’8"
Thor 6’10"
Kalib 6’9"
Yor 6’10"

You’d have just about every defender in the paint against that lineup just daring them to shoot the perimeter shot

I think everyone in that line up could hit a mid range jumper and Keylan and Thor shoot pretty well from outside.

I think taking williams is a mistake. I see this kid as a future transfer. We have one shot with Cunningham and wasting a spot on a kid that seems like a redshirt candidate seems pointless and possibly blowing our shot. Even if we lose someone to a transfer, he’s still not worth taking since we already have several shooting guard prospects on the team and committed.

i have been thinking the exact same thing…what a lineup … with solid bench players who can legitably provide some quality minutes to keep a ‘fresh’ set on floor every minute … woo …wee However, i dont have a good feeling about Thor arriving in Stilly … re: Bruce Pearl is solid recruiter and Auburn is 90 minutes from Atlanta …

I agree. If he were a “shoe-in” we would not be in the mix for Williams or the grad transfers. Like @richard8 , I’m not sold on Williams at this point. I like his size and ability, but I think we may be better served (assuming no Thor) with a veteran in the frontcourt like the Tulsa transfer or even Haarms. That gives us 3 scholarships for next year’s class (Flavors, Cade, grad. transfer 2). Another grad transfer that could be a 3 and D guy would be nice also. I’m good either way.

I’m not sure what’s taking him so long to decide. I’ve been waiting to hear him sign for what seems like a year. Would love to get him.
I’ve never been quite as excited for football and basketball with the players we have for next season in both sports. With the virus that seems in some doubt now. Bummer, please do what you can to slow the spread so that we just maybe have some very incredible teams to watch this fall.

Amen…brother!
