Wasn’t there a former javelin thrower, who went to Nashville? I have always thought that a GB concert in BPS would be incredible!
He had his chance. He chose a concert with very limited numbers in 2023 at McKnight. center. He may never come home again.
NIL probably won’t matter much unless we get better coaching.

This is a fantastic, out of the box, and so far unique ( to my knowledge.) idea of using your assets for income. Now that employee money is needed ( NIL, don’t get mad lol ) I can imagine universities will start all kinds of off the wall projects to raise funding.
Why did the NCAA have a problem with the QR codes? I would love nothing more than to boop my favorite player some electric cash because he / she showed out like a boss.
Actually curious why that idea isn’t more rampant. Regardless, you could in theory turn BPS into a stop for any minor - major band, show, or arena spectacular to support this endeavor.
Maximise your greatest asset as a college, or most lucritive one. Well Done leadership.

This would be awesome to be done annually. The Saturday night before the first game of the season. Be like an orange peel type celebration.
I would be stunned if Chad Weiberg has not reached out to Garth. Thing is, I could see this as a difficult venture to pull off.
Garth and Bud Light probably shouldn’t be in BPS that weekend. Garth and his wife could do their own weekend. I just think it’s different crowds.
