This will be the first meeting between the Cowboys and the Fighting Irish.
Their head coach will have 3ish weeks in the position as a first time head coach. Gundy has been a head coach for 17ish years. If we can’t manage a win and get out coached again it will be very concerning.
Ok, I’ve been really bummed since yesterday. But…this is way cool! Not a bad consolation prize!! Beat the Domers! GO POKES!!
This is fantastic! We could be 1-0 against the Irish! Something the Goons can never say!
Let’s find a way to build an offense around our running QB just incase Warren can’t play. Doubt the o’line can get better in 3 weeks. Anybody know what actually happened to LD? I think he’s been questionable for weeks now.
What about owens I haven’t heard his name for a while now.
Not bad. Will Dunn take into account which players are injured and adapt the play calling to that? or bury his head in the sand and just keep calling the same plays?
Is there such a thing as an offensive goal line coach? I think OSU needs one.
and pay Jim Knowles!!!
U seem to be a genius.
Riddle me this.
If ur top players are hurt. U now open up the play book for the 4th string to run.
How many challenges did Knowles have this year. Had plenty of good mature players. That he didnt recruit.
With the non-stop problems keep offensive players on the field, I think the they did the coaching.
And, by the way, for all you “Gundy’s terrible and we’re content with mediocrity” b00bs…THIS should show you a pretty good picture of how we’re percieved nationally. GO POKES!
I think given the makeshift status of the O-line, the coaches thought it better to sit LD and Jaylen. Dominic and Dezmon are good RBs, I seriously doubt LD or Jaylen would have done that much better yesterday with Godlevske out. If Godlevske is healthy for the bowl, then OSU should do well. If he’s still out, could easily be a game like yesterday’s.
A healthy Warren could have.
They may be holding ld out for a medical redshirt.
Warren wanted to play but gundy said he was still bagged up.
Y’all want to talk about injuries but Baylor was playing with a freshman backup quarterback. Knowles lost Ford and Sterling and still had his best year yet. Charlie Dickey was supposed to be someone special but so far his guys are the problem. The offensive line has been a problem since 2013 but can anyone name the highest recruit since then? Shouldn’t Gundy be trying to help get better players to fix the problem? It’s always excuses.
This only shows me how OSU is perceived nationally when Florida, Clemson, OU, Oregon, LSU, Auburn, Iowa State, and USC all find a way to not be that good in the same year. Then again, that’s not OSU’s fault.
I think they will get their asses handed to them. As long as Spencer sanders is QB I will give us 7 to 24 for the Irish! We can’t win that game with The offense the way it is and coaching that is subpar by Kasey the blackmailer Dunn. Should have never moved him to OC!!!
it’s hard for them to think like this when the orange shades have been melted into the skin of their heads. Of course, Gundy says it’s because he has no money for the football program to be championship caliber. We’ll see about that over his next five seasons. I’m going to guess it may end up being like the excuses of the past 10 years.
Maybe you should take your crimson shades off and try to post something positive once in awhile. All the teams you listed that didn’t have a good year, that’s our fault ? Why mention it at all. I really wish you would go to the goons , they biotch as much as you
On any given year do you think we are perceived better nationally than those football programs? (Except maybe Iowa State)
That was the whole point. If you’re going to comment at least be able to read the context of the comment. Geez!!
Don’t we have a huge JUCO commit coming in for the offensive line next year?
You’re talking against yourself. Knowles did great, but Baylor’s backup QB did well. Which is it?
