OSU Baseball: Cowboys Complete Sweep of UCF with 10-6 Win

The Cowboys earned their second series sweep of the season.

The team seems to peaking at the end of the Conference Schedule and could win the last two series while teams ahead of them are losing series. Others are reporting that we need to win the B12 Tournament to get the automatic Bid.

If we keep winning our RPI will get in the 30’s or 40’s and SOS should remain in lower teens, especially if we sweep ASU. We could end up 28-21 and 16-11 and be 5th or 6th in the B12. With this record we could rise to a bubble team and if we go far in the B12 Tournament we could have a 30-31 wins and 22-23 losses.

The projections have 5-6 B12 teams getting in and we swept KSU, so if we end up ahead of them we should take their place in B12 projections. However Cincy has been hot recently sweeping KU, but they have TCU and KSU to finish.

Is this even possible or have the experts and committee already ruled us out regardless of how we finish the season?
