I can’t believe the coaches have not corrected Lund’s mechanical issues. It’s obvious him pitching across his body causes most of this problems. Where his right (plant) foot goes far too over to his left. Every game I’ve seen him pitch it takes an inning or two before he finds his mechanics. I thought this new pitching coach would do wonders…oh well.

Our pitching just sucks. Offense has come alive some , I never thought we had the pitching to make it though a regional

Why does Josh get a pass when he has been the most disappointing coach at ok st over the last 5 years.

Probably because in that 5 year span he’s won the Big 12 in the regular season (2023) and the tournament (2024). I do agree that the lack of postseason success has been frustrating.

They don’t care about conference titles. Even though it proves you were the best in your conference :man_shrugging:. It’s okay to lose to CM, South Bama, and Tulsa in football though, and not win the conference in nearly two decades :+1:. Some coaches get an easier shake than others.

That’s very true, but did Josh go to the equivalent of a fiesta bowel win over Notre dame in the last five years. I’ll be the first to tell you I’m not a Gundy fan. But at least he has some historical equity. Josh has nothing. And don’t give me that BS about a conference title. If that’s all that mattered, we wouldn’t have David Taylor here today in the wrestling program. Again, I’m not a Gundy fan, but your anti-Gundy rant have become so tiring on this forum. I wish they would just give you a little hole to go into and make post that no one else had to see.

We are underperforming under Josh Holliday. We have a very respectable baseball history even outside of Gary Ward. We have great facilities, decent weather, and good regional baseball talent. The B1G (other than western teams) usually don’t have destination programs that we need to compete with (less competition), so why are we just “decent”. Simply making the list of 64 teams that goes to regionals is a low bar. Weiberg needs to make moves to bring OSU baseball back to relevancy on the national stage.

Hey buddy,

I don’t disagree with you here. He probably should have more. However, I’m just saying we disregard the fact he’s been a coach half as long as Gundy, and has won the conference four times more. So that’s what he DOES HAVE that Gundy couldn’t accomplish in double the time :+1:. I’m simply pointing out our fans have a massive double standard.

So winning the conference in nearly an every other year basis is underperforming to you? How do you feel about regular bowl games then?
