Totally outstanding!
Happy for the coach who had some bad luck when a top golfer transferred a few years ago and he wasn’t left with much. But he recruited well since then.
Hopefully this title goes a long way for recruiting. Mike Holder was a master at recruiting.
Minor sports like golf, wrestling, cross country and track giving us something to cheer about. Football, basketball and baseball need to follow suit.

I go back to last fall, at Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club and the Jackson T. Stephens Cup, when this group really signaled what they were capable of doing. The entire spring was strong and special.

I don’t really watch golf, but currently in OKC for a conference and flipped the TV around trying to find different sports channels and came up the Golf Channel and watched it. Was flipping back and forth, cause tons of commercials, between that and the Thunder game. It did not look good early one, being down 3-1-1 and really didn’t turn it around till about 2/3rd, 3/4ths of the match. That Eric Lee kid came up big yesterday and the semis against Ole Miss, not to say it was all him.
I think the kids like/love Alan Bratton a lot! Hard to follow your mentor, i.e. Holder, and expect to win as many natties as him, competition has gotten a lot stiffer!
