How many spots you think Tulsa’s good showing against UCF aided OSU’s climb?

I was going to say the same thing then saw your comment. Definitely should be a boost through the season if TU runs their league and we are their only loss and UCF plays well this season. Could be a better non-conference win than many.
That’s a good question. It probably helped a little. It certainly didn’t hurt. I would agree with @cmack. The better Tulsa does, the more it helps our resume.

Heading into the Red River Rivalry, Texas needs a win but OU needs one worse. They are 1-2 on the season, a loss drops them to 1-3 and likely on the outside looking in for the Big 12 championship. And OSU is looking strong - offense is starting to click, defense is very capable.
