The Cowgirls walk off a ranked opponent in consecutive days.
First, let me say I love the Clearwater Invitational tourney. All the good softball teams in attendance is awesome and makes for some serious head-to-head matchups that you won’t see again until OKC. But I wish that it wasn’t the season opener. Play this is March just before teams head to their conference season when teams have an idea of who they are, what lineups are best, and allow for the cream to really rise to the top and play best on best.
