Berge took fourth at 184 back in 2024.
I definitely wasn’t expecting this transfer pick up, but I do like it. If he is going back down to 184 that gives Ryder the chance to completely heal and get a medical redshirt. Bennett will have Michael White to work with and against in the room. I will add this: the Berge is pretty tall and slender. You could add some weight on him, and if on the slightest chance Dreshaun Ross needs time to work on his riding game (be honest, dude hasn’t been ridden or had to ride a SINGLE person in his college career. He’s more like Ono in that respect of experience), Berge could take the heavyweight spot. Just an idea…so, I’m pretty interested in this pick. Always liked him too. Hard nosed fighter on the mat.

I’m with you. Seems like a clear sign that Ryder needs surgery, and Berge will compete for the 184 spot.
