Might be in the minority, but IMO Forrest should take the redshirt, spend time in the wrestling room against all the dogs in there, and come out next season. He’s a potential 4-time champ, of course no one knows what can happen to derail that since it’s so difficult to do!
Not sure the rules, but could he wrestle in the NCAAs and still redshirt? I hear the 5 rule mentioned, but does that mean 5 days or 5 events?
Bowl games/postseason don’t count against redshirts in football but maybe wrestling is different?
