OSU's Receiver Depth, Experience Should Be a Strength in 2022

That’s a lie. They were no older than any others in the draft who didn’t come out early.

You find the number of the other ones they played against. Guarantee you they were among the oldest every game they played. So no not a “lie”. Cheese d**k

So it is all about Knowles walking around smoking cigars. We will see. If mason keeps the defense under 35th then it’s the players. Thats what I felt Knowles could do with this team. Over 35 it’s Knowles. Under 30 it’s mason

Most of the redshirt seniors in the draft are older than malcolm who just turned 23.

I really don’t know how the defense will be. I’m optimistic. This was certainly the flashiest coordinator hire we’ve ever made, and I want it to work out.

I’m still bet on this d line.
If they cause enough problems like last year then we just need the other 7 to be in the rite place.
I’m not looking for a top 5 defense just better then 35. And hope the offense gets back into the top 20.
Off balance.

I’m not talking about the draft.

I don’t know what you’re talking about. If you weren’t too big of a dumbace and could actually do the research he was never fired from OU. He decided to leave for Clemson. Was a personal decision of his. OU isn’t going to fire a DC who had a defense finish 55th nationally after just one season.

Venables had consistently good defenses when he was at OU. Wow!!! There’s that consistency word again. If OU didn’t feel he was the right man for the job they never would’ve called him. OU isn’t going to overpay a coach with very little accomplishments. We only do that in Stillwater.

I hate OU with every fiber in my body, but they aren’t stupid when it comes to hiring coaches. They want someone they think is going to get them to the CFP or national title game. They aren’t just trying to make it to the field of 80.

Who spent 4 years with them? Who made them better each year he was here? Which unit was on the field in our only two losses? We had Emmanuel Ogbah for four years and not once did we crack the top 50 in defense when those guys were around.

You better hope we get a decent offensive line and new playbook then.

Joy I’m not going to talk bad about your team. No one leaves ou for then a middle of the pack Clemson.

When ou need a coach, went me option. Usc took the best one. Lmao.

We have had alot of good players. But we never had the depth as these last 2 years. Good depth makes it better.
Which Knowles had nothing to do with the depth.

We were in the 30’s so I’m not asking for much. With an extra year for a lot. Not a big stretch

Dude nobody is saying knowles wasn’t good but to give him all of the credit is so naive. He had a great year yes, he also had one of the vetran laden defenses around.

Joy doesn’t understand why gundy wants experienced players. You know how she has always want the freshman to play

How many National titles does OU have compared to Clemson since 2011? Venables was making 440k his last season at OU. Clemson offered to double his salary. That would make any coach think about leaving.

Didn’t really help us much in the CCG.

Your saying ou, if they want Brent, wouldn’t have paid more.
Your say ou let a guru go 4 400k. That sounds like ou.
Not.

Weird how they hired him as the HC.

I already answered that a few post back. Your wanting reply is getting inthe way of new questions

You’re just trying to make excuses now. I told you Clemson offered to double his salary (which they did). Clemson also had made the Orange Bowl that year. Clemson invested in bringing in top tier coaches (which they did). Clemson invested into the football program as a whole (which they did). In doing so they’ve won the ACC several times and a couple of national titles.

That’s what happens when you’re serious about making the football program big time. You find out what you have to do to get to that level. Now, for whatever reason, we’ve decided to invest more money into a HC that has very little experience in what championship caliber actually means.
