Grimes has been up and down. Had a really, really good start to the 22’ season before tailing off the rest of the year. Really didn’t do much of anything this year in 23’. So I really wouldn’t know what kind of player he actually is? He didn’t factor in at all this year, but everybody could use bodies on the DL.
There’s a number of QB’s in the portal. Not sure why Gundy is not fishing for one. I would think having Ollie on our team would attract QBs like flies to honey. I am not comfortable playing inexperienced QBs next season.
How do you know Gundy isn’t looking for aQB. Almost the only thing that gets announced are what the players state on social media, I would guess most of the info goes under the radar.

You have to lower your expectations in recruiting with gundy. This is a prototypical player here. Gundy only has so many kohl’s gift cards to give out for portal guys. 
. Just another player to win 7 to 8 games a year. He’s never to date went for a proven power five guy ever and won’t. He accepts defeat. He has no faith in this school or himself.
Take out 2020. We are 10 of 18 years with 9 or more wins. What is all this bs you spout. With a bowl win we will have as many 10 win season as 7. Real 2020 would have been a 10 win season if we played all the games.
