‘There perhaps is not a better place than Stillwater, Oklahoma for me wanting to raise my family.’

I loved living in Stilly even though as a student who transferred in from zerOU and then a juco, I was only there for 2.5 years. But after landing my first job and with friends still there, I moved back from Tulsa, and lived there another 3 years. It’s grown quite a bit since then, but it’s a good enough sized small city to live comfortably. I’d rather live there than Tulsa or OKC. No offense to anyone who lives in those two cities.

We have freedom of speech still, if people don’t like your takes and opinions they can block you. Of course these forums have different rules and some deserve to be banned like if they use racist epithets, are constantly rude, obnoxious, etc to others, but I don’t see that from you. Lot of sensitive people on any forums, social media, and they all seem to be Mike Gumby fanboys when it comes to oSu fans. :joy:

As far as Gundy goes, this site is filled with Democrats or Republicans. There is no middle ground. Gundy is either to be blamed for 9-11 and the OSU football current state. Or, hes blamed for nothing and was the innocent victim by the univeristy those same people claim to love. Its incredibly annoying. Trying to discuss Gundy is exactly like discussing politics.

I hear ya, but like the position he once played, he gets too much praise and too much blame. He did a very good job getting oSu to a certain level, but I knew 5 seasons back he wasn’t going to go much further, just not enough of a gunslinger mentality and his playbook was too predictable. He will still be very respected by the masses of alums and fans.

“He gets too much praise and too much blame”. Thats probably the fairest way to put it. I think his equity hed built up, added with the loyalty from the Admin is what got this thing headed in the wrong direction. Then the portal/NIL was the death knell.

Plus didn’t put in the work with and didn’t like the portal. What coach does, it requires a lot more time and I don’t think the Dinosaur wanted to invest that. I just read an article on Cignetti, that he personally looks at film and talks to every player they offer, even checks their handshakes, and voila! Got the best team in the country unless Miami pulls off a huge upset!
