Yeah - but can you hang out with other degenerate Okies getting juiced out of next months rent?

Didn’t think so, pal.

Not to be a Debbie Downer here, but the Governor’s legal authority to actually do this is circumspect at best

Shutup shutup shutup!!! :joy:

This part seems interesting.

If by interesting, you mean “totally without merit or authority” then yes, it is very interesting

Who is going to stop one of the tribes?

The Oklahoma Supreme Court, the Department of the Interior, just to name a few

BIA wouldn’t shut that down

They’ll ask for their cut

I don’t know if the feds would care all that much since it’s not federally illegal anymore. I guess if the other tribes could make an argument how this is harming them (especially the larger ones), they might be able to get the BIA in it. I would guess this will definitely be handled in the courts, especially because it’s still technically illegal in OK and because this was done entirely outside of the legislature or a statewide question.

The BIA has to approve every single one of these, so I’d they don’t approve it then it is not effective.

Right, but I just don’t see any reason why the BIA wouldn’t approve these two since it isn’t breaking any federal laws anymore, except for the other tribes raising an issue.

Purporting to allow one tribe to operate gaming on another tribes land is very much not kosher with federal law

BIA is the shadiest part of the federal government, they’ll take a cut and let sportsbooks happen if anything.

What tribe is doing that?

Did you read the compact?

Read the article in the World. What’s a situation where another tribe is going to have a sportsbooks on another tribes land?
