Can OSU go to Manhattan and steal a W?
I dnt see all their guys being healthy enough to make a good fite for a whole game. If are back ups show whst they did in the texas game im happy with our depth.
At the start ov the year i said ksu have great starters but not the depth needed.
37 27 osu
I take offense to the comment that this game will show if oSu is truly a contender for the Big 12 championship. The Cowboys have shown many times over so far that they are contenders. If not for a bum shoulder, Cowboys would be undefeated and in sole possession of 1st place.
The season is resembling last season with all these injuries. Ready or not freshmen being called to duty without the full protection of the finished product for body by Glass armor.
Kyle . . . I was at the Texas game, and I never felt like we were going to lose, nor did anyone around me in the donor’s section verbalize any doubt we would win. Freshman Ewers kept overthrowing his receivers, and he was supposed to be the key to a Texas win. We expected #5 and #8 to get theirs. When Ewers showed he had lost his Midas touch with the football, I had complete confidence in Sanders and our receivers to come back and win.
OSU 37 Kansas St 30
The last sentence of the first paragraph… wooo weeee!!! I like it! I know a few glass half empty people on here that would disagree no matter what about that statement.

If Martinez is definitely and Howard out then OSU 42-16. With either in OSU 35-24. Just what I feel. Sanders has a breakout career day hopefully.
KState is a good team, not a great team. The backups are capable and they still play sound, Snyderesque, football on both sides of the ball. That being said, it is high time that Gundy and our Cowboys make a statement if we are indeed capable of such. It is time for us to dominate a ‘good’ team. We have yet to dominate anyone other than Ark-PineBluff. It will require a great game by all, and a killer, hands on their throat and squeeze, instinct by coaches, as opposed to ‘sweating’ out a win with a lead.
To be pragmatically honest, if we can’t beat KState by two touchdowns or more, while we may still be Big12 Championship worthy, I am not sure I want the dominoes to fall in order and make the CFP. The moral victory and prestige of ‘just being nominated’ would be meaningless compared to the butt whipping we might endure. jmho…
But, I do think we can make a good showing if in the CFP… so… oSu-44 ksu-17!!
GO POKES!!!
I still think Ewers deserves our game ball… lol, despite many deserving efforts from our own players.
Best quarterback in the B12….currently resides in Fort Worth.
I predict OSU 37 Kansas St 27
It’s a huge game: if we win we would own all tiebreakers vs the next 4 teams below us: KSU, Texas, Baylor & Tech. Virtually assured a spot in title game. If we lose, then WILDCATS assume that upper hand.
Yes. Its big. We win and then we face lesser teams and can afford a lost. Its late one of these team can get better. We still are beat up too
A lot of this depends on if Martinez and Vaughn are healthy. If those guys are ready to go I think we lose 34-31. If one of those guys are out I think we win 34-24. Our pass defense ranks 127th in the country. I know Martinez isn’t a master at passing the ball, but our pass defense still concerns me. Ewers was a freshman on his first true road test when he came to Stillwater. Martinez is a veteran QB that’s learned from a lot of his mistakes.
Apparently Brayden Johnson will be back which helps a lot. K State is 70th in the country in pass defense, but I think it’s just bad enough we can have success in the passing game given Sanders is healthy enough to get the ball down the field. K State ranks 7th in the conference in run defense (we rank 8th). If we can find a way to be balanced and keep the ball on the ground also I think we’ll be alright given we don’t lose the turnover battle badly.
Then again if stats really mattered a lot we would most likely be 3-4 instead of 6-1 right now. If we can just get this win we’re setting up nicely to return to Arlington.
Yea lets not get to excited about all stats. One thing ksu played 3 bad offenses in there preseason.look at tge tcu game we gave up 15 more yards in a double overtime game.
Things that didn’t age well.
Well… for all who thought me overly critical of our defense after the CMich game… lol
Mason is not worth his contract for sure. As for my optimism toward today’s game, I stand corrected!!
GO POKES!!
