How we see OSU’s Big 12 opener playing out.
I so have little hope that this goes well I have put my hard earned United States of America currency on Baylor -13.5.
Hopefully, the players and coaches realize that the rest of the season is their audition tape if they’re looking for another job/school, and coach/play their arse off.
I said that I wouldn’t watch another OSU football game as long as Gundy was HC. Now that he’s gone, I guess I’ll check this one out. Interested to see how this team will respond.
I’m picking Baylor to win, but hopefully OSU will be competitive.
13.5?? Everywhere I’ve seen Baylor is favored at 20.5.
Yea…..Baylor is gonna score over 40. We look like a middling FCS school. I think we lose 45-10.
I bought the points since it’s one of many legs. I didn’t want OSU covering 3 TDs and blowing my bet.
I’ll go
Bears 42
Cowboys 17
I want to know where you got those odds. I want some of that!
I love that 2 of the guys pick us to score 3 TDs. I would love to see 3 offensive TDs even in a losing effort. That would at least give me some hope that we could score enough to upset someone on the remaining schedule.
Good for Kyle Cox picking us to win. That’s the attitude the players and coaches need to have. Play for the guy next to you. Play for yourself. Play to win!
Wishful thinking, but I get it.
Kyle!!! with the eternal optimism. I’ll go Baylor 35 Us 10.
He’$ trying to get some $ucker$ to bet, LOL.
Pokes stun the world. ESPN leadoff story. Cowboys 24, Bears 13. Leave me alone.
this defense isn’t holding Baylor to 13 points.
Last game of eligibility for redshirting. How many players hit the portal after this week?
I expect very few will actually enter the portal at this point. But I won’t be surprised if those with a redshirt available don’t ask to be allowed to use it and then transfer in the spring. Its late in the school year to transfer in at most schools, transferring now would likely have significant NIL ramifications, and the per the rules, none of them are eligible to play at their new school to next year anyhow. So I expect a healthy number of “scratches” starting next week, but only a small number of actual mid-season transfers.
Perhaps the really big question is how many people attend the game??
Will Hejny play again this year? He came in with Meacham, so I assume that, unless Meacham is retained, he probably bounces. He’s going to miss so much of the season, he might just call it.
I honestly am hopeful for their season end wise, once haas is back, I think we can score.
I believe with no coverage overhead, Meachum let’s it all hang out and we get to see some play calling.
Can our young gunslinger beat the bears thru the air?
It’s your time Young Cowboys, go get em!
