Predictions for the score, game MVP and OSU’s uniform combo.
Hard to predict when we don’t know what QB is playing. This game could go many different ways.
I have BYU by at least 21 points favorite. I think Pokes get blown out. We are just that bad. I think we actually lose by a bigger score than 21 points. But at least we don’t have to watch Bowman, who by this time, probably has joined the cheerleading squad. Rangel will look bad and then hopefully we get to see M. Smith. I think Flores plays late in the season if his injury heals. There will be no bowl game. I will watch until my midnight bedtime and then catch the rest via replay on Saturday. Not worth losing any sleep over.
The question is, can Gundy ever resurrect this program in future seasons? NIL has ruined everything.
Rashad Owens hopefully can get free, and we need to involve Shetron big time. We need to see the deep ball and air raid style with the receivers we have. Hopefully, Ollie let’s himself heal from his injury. Go with our other 2 backs.
BYU 34 OSU 17
I think the game will be closer than expected in the first half with OSU coming off a bye and BYU coming off a short week. However, BYU pulls away in the 2nd half.
I care not to give a score prediction. I want to see a new qb put in a good position even if we start with a simplified offense. Gap scheme. Run by committee if needed. 4 down defense and adjustments at half time to counter. You know, the things that actually might work. Please don’t make me turn the game off because I might not turn it back on unless coordinators and possibly even the head coach are gone. I’m tired of running out of excuses for them all.
41-9 BYU. We score field goals, not touchdowns. We also don’t stop big plays.
I agree. Gundy has already screwed over his entire football team and the fan base. He might as well just put Zane (or Smith) in the rest of the year so he can get closer to his 15 games of experience to be ready.
It’s not hard to predict when you know who the coaching staff is going to be.
BYU 56, OSU 20. That’s best case scenario for this slow motion train wreck.
Honestly I do not care if we win or lose, I just hope we get to see Flores so we either know we have something there or know just how bad of shape the team is in for the future. Whatever that takes - I hope it’s 35-0 at half so that Michael (Not Kenny🎷) G. has no choice but to put him in.
I’m surprised people think we’re going to score over 20 points.
I’ll give mine, BYU 52 oSu 10.
Flores is listed as backup so the injury thing is either B$ or a ploy by Gumby & co, but as for the last one, that would be doofy since no one has tape of him.

I wonder if the cow head butt will be the go to excuse after this blow out loss. The “out coached” and “out schemed” excuses are getting played out and used too much.
At least he’s being honest about it . His entire offensive coaching staff sucks donkey balls. I guess I could give Nardo another year, but we’ve went from 125th last season to being 129th in total defense currently. So I’m not exactly confident Nardo is going to come out with a much improved defense next season.
Thats the issue with having someone like Gundy. You can’t have losers on your coaching staff, and be mediocre yourself, then expect that to create a recipe for championship caliber coaching. It’s good if you don’t want to win a conference game though.
Late kickoff at altitude
40 degrees at kickoff
New Qb
Cougars 31
OSU 13
But it doesn’t seem that close, we score a late TD.
The comments sound closer to reality than the predictions. I’m sitting at Dallas Love field headed to the game. So far 2 Go Pokes!! I just want to see something to build on for next season and perhaps the rest of this season.
Eddie Sutton always made it clear that he only would hire Assitants who aspired to be HC’s because he knew he was always going to get their best etc …in contrast, Grundy is predisposed to the young/low experience Assistant …pay them a lot $’s and have them beholden to him so he can control them etc …. Holgerson, Arroyo and Monken? They were too strong enough personalities & experienced AC’s for Grundy ……they were their own men
42-14. BYU sweeps the leg on this miserable season.
