I had the same clarification…the “Slim Drain” was a bit silly, particularly with ease of looking up an 86-89 roster. He is a Stillwater product, was All-State and a productive starter during Gundy’s playing days…believe he was the defensive MVP of the '88 Holiday Bowl.
