Everyone is waiting for…even expecting…us to slip up. They think it’s inevitable. That’s why we are getting no respect.
We have to be Rocky. We have to be the Hickory High School team in Hoosiers. We have to be Boise State vs OU 2006 Fiesta Bowl. We have to take it, seize it. No one will give us respect without us winning out.
We’ve been building for this. Let’s go Pokes!

When you’re not a blue blood: Respect is earned not given.
Been that way for years and it’s not going to change. Just worry about what you can control: winning games.
Also, I have to agree with @CarsonCunningham on the game with Tech. This has trap game written all over it and I think it’s going to be closer than what spread is in Vegas.
I will be pleasantly surprised if they blow Tech out. It’s such a tough spot against a bad, stylistic matchup.

Well we are in that limbo area. There are guys who give us/gundy respect. The other 7 teams want what we got
And circle the osu game. A win over osu is a big recruiting deal for them. Since were all fighting for the same guy.
You got to remember tech is got a new coach. He has nothing to lose by losing. We may see 4th down trys every time. Trick plays. A top ten win first year is big. We better be ready every game

I’d like to see a blowout for once. Maybe we would earn some of that respect that we think is missing and on a personal note I wouldn’t need extra blood pressure pills to watch the game lol.
Probably get more respect if we had more than one conference title in 17 years. Y’all mentioned competing for a conference championship every year but it took till the 5th year of having the championship game back for us to even make it. We haven’t been bad, we just haven’t been good enough.
You keep say what ever osu is doing is wrong.
Lets look at a school with a natty and titles and see what they have done to keep up.
Colorado left the big 12 think it was in their best interest. I have know idea how many coaches they have had 4 or 5. Has all this helped cu. They have no titles in the weaker pac 12. They have 1 winning season in those 12 years. We to them to the woodshed that year.
I can point out all of these teams that hurt their program.
You cant find an example that fired a guy that has gone to 17 straight bowls and got a better coach

Yet they have as many big 12 titles as OSU.

Colorado didn’t move to the PAC 12 to make their football program better. The moved because they want to be liberal as the left coast.
