PFB Roundtable: A Fantasy Draft of the Best Players from the Mike Gundy Era

See which current Cowboys made the all-time Gundy team.

Dekota and Marshall are so close, I tend to lean towards Marshall because the skill players will probably make up the difference in Zac and Mason (although it’s absolutely tough to pick against Blackmon). Kyle, there’s always the next coach’s era.

Now this is my kinda content.

If Dakota would’ve taken Josh Cooper and Brandon Pettigrew (huge omission!) with his last two picks he wins in a landslide.

Marshall wins. All great picks guys but what ZR lacked in passing he more than makes up for in running. ZR, Gordon, and Hunter is a rushing attack that a defense has to respect leaving Dez and Tylan man to man. Impossible to defend.

This is fun! Great picks guys! Here’s mine based on the names thrown out:

Weeden
Ollie
Dez
Blackmon
Washington
Cheetah

That would be a bad asz lineup !! Surprised that Cooper wasn’t picked somewhere. It’s hard to break into a WR group that we have had though

I’d go with Dekota’s lineup. I do agree with @CarsonCunningham that Pettigrew is a big omission.

We haven’t had a tight end for 10 years so I think the guys forgot about Pettigrew and even Jarwin.

Bo bowling
Hubert aniyam
James Castleman
Is Jalen Mccleskey just kicking himself still ?

Jeff Carr (we needed a package where he could just hide behind someone’s huge thigh and pop out randomly)
Wes Lunt- first casualty of the oline drop off . That guy was tough .

I’d fantasy draft the best players possible to win another conference title.

Jelani Woods was a FREAK - we just never threw to the guy!

Dekota wins hands down. Rudolph with 2 Biletnikoff winners to choose from? And Randle behind him (with the assumed 2011 O-line)? Unstoppable

Randle was good even in the nfl but would someone other post 2011 rb be better than him with that o line ?

We’ve had several backs as good or better. But with that QB/WR combo, not sure you’d need anyone ‘better’
