PFB Staff Ranks the Top 5 Quarterbacks in Oklahoma State History

I know who Rusty Hilger is. I wrote his obituary for the website when he passed several years ago. He was a kind soul who interacted frequently and was a huge OSU fan.

This!!! Exactly.

Yes, he should have a spot on that list. Remove SS and replace with RH!

As far as I am concerned SS couldn’t even sniff that list of top QBs at Oklahoma State.

That 2008 Mizzou game was epic. Great job recalling that one. And I say, what if Clint Chelf was the consistent starter during his tenure? He shared snaps with Walsh and Garmin, rarely playing a whole game and never held the starting job for an entire season. He was a gamer who supposedly didn’t practice well or something. A guy who was never a full-time starter made honorable mention.

For those that have been around awhile…
What if… Mike Gundy hadn’t run off Gary Porter back in the days of Pat Jones? Had the potential to be a great one but was too cool for Mike…

Give me Weeden and then all the rest…

Two words: 31-24. Charlie Weatherbie. Back when men were men.

Josh Fields over Spencer Sanders all freaking day. Come on now.

Just because Sanders would be my choice for starter this season in no way qualifies him as top 5 of all time in my opinion. But yes I’d rather have double S than Rangel Bowman but he left (Or was ultimately pushed out lol) so it doesn’t really matter.

I don’t know. But clearly SS didn’t learn anything as a QB. Because he’s an idiot. The guy should have stayed playing as a tailback, I saw flashes of that when he would try to leap over a linebacker.
