Players Reporting Wednesday

• One source I talked to said OSU’s spring enrollees will report to Stillwater on Wednesday to start their lives at Oklahoma State. The source expected all of the spring enrollees to show up at that time.

• Based on what Mike Gundy said before Christmas, that would include the following players:

Shane Illingworth (QB)
Quinton Stewart (CW)
Tyren Irby (DE)
Monroe Mills (OL)
Eli Russ (OL)

• Of those, I would expect only probably Illingworth and Irby have a good shot of playing in 2020. Irby didn’t have any offers coming out of high school, but he turned himself into a 6’3 235-lb defensive end that could provide OSU some depth in 2020 and beyond.

While Spencer will probably win out in the end, I fully expect Illingworth to give him a run for his money.

Is it correct to assume Collin clay as well? And sills?

I just can’t see Gundy playing a freshman QB 2 years in a row. Next year you’re trying to win a big 12 championship. He would have to be Trevor Lawrence and let’s be honest he’s not the #1 QB in the country

Believe so, this was of the fall signees.

Gotcha. Thanks. I assumed clay would be there. Not sure about Sills. Wasn’t sure if he already had his credits or not.
