@CarsonCunningham and Colby, couldn’t agree more with everything.
I’m 46 and though I’m not a native to OKC (lived in the metro since 2015) my hometown is Ada, which is about a hour and a half from the city. Growing up, the thought of Oklahoma having a major sports franchise just seemed like a foreign concept. It’s amazing how far OKC had come. Watching the final minutes of game 7 with my wife, I noted how surreal it was that the OKC was about to become the NBA champs and it was only 20 minutes from my house.
As for the national types who don’t understand how much this team means, I’ll just point them to the photos below to get an idea. THUNDER UP!!!
