Both teams looked very rusty in that game last weekend. I would hold my judgement at least until they get through their non conf schedule and have a chance to get settled.

They’re already in the hole on week zero. That’s a steep ask to make it to the championship game.

This isn’t a week 8 loss. It was week zero. The odds any Big 12 team is going to be able to pull off a championship appearance going 8-0 from week 4 through the end of the season is highly unlikely. Their margin of error is pretty much gone before most of the conference has kicked off their season.

A team with 2 conference losses makes it to the championship almost every year. Loooong way to go

In other words, it’s going to be another year under Gundy with no conference title for a majority of the opinions here? So when WE say it we’re just trolls and fools. However, when ANYONE ELSE says it that’s totally fine and understandable?

I think it’s kinda wild all three guys picked Hejny and nobody picked Flores.

It’s unlikely any B12 team will go undefeated in conference play. Last year two 7-2 teams went to the title game including Arizona St, who lost their first conference game last year.
