The Cowboys are getting some preseason respect.
37th would be in the ballpark of what I could see this team achieving maybe with an outside chance to crack the top 25. Then we see if we can keep the band together for a run next year with, hopefully, an infusion of talent.
Considering they’ve won four games over the last two years, having a ranking that’s essentially 37th in the country is not bad. Now time to prove it on the field.

Coaches don’t have a clue which teams will be good or great at this time of year. Most are still trying to learn the names of all their own portal players. I guess it gives fans something to talk about during this dead time. One month to go and we will begin to see if we have Big 12 talent or not. I’m optimistic, but isn’t every team optimistic in the preseason? Go Pokes!
