What’s your take on AEW?
I think they have a massive opportunity right now to win a lot of fans away from WWE. There’s such a wave of ‘screw this noise’ in the wrestling fandom right about how poorly WWE (let’s be fair - Vince McMahon) is running things that if AEW just makes good wrestling, stories, and characters, they absolutely could become a WCW-level threat to WWE. If being the operative word.
I mean, case in point. The WWE signed Undertaker to a fifteen-year contract worth massive money because Vince got salty he was taking convention bookings. Out of anger, they have a significant chunk of their budget tied up in a legend who can barely wrestle anymore. That’s not good business.

Been watching AEW a little lately and I have to say I’m digging it.

It definitely seems like it has a bit more life to it than WWE. I’ve flat out quit watching Vince’s brand because it’s godawful.
