How in the world does what Lanning said equate to “hinting that we (OSU) lack something like intelligence…” Lanning took veiled shots in response to what he perceived as veiled shots taken at him. Lannin also was very complimentary of Gundy/OSU. Since 2005, Oregon has won its conference 7 times. OSU has only done it once. One program has created a culture of expecting to win their conference. While the other created a culture of simply making any bowl. One program was smart before NIL. While the other pissed away what it had.
