I hear you on the defense, they have just seemed to quit. For them to come back and beat Texas in the second half and totally shut their run game down to what it is now , it totally baffles me. Our Dline was supposed to be our strength.

@michael13 Yea thinking back to the Texas game with a little 2020 hindsight the warts in our D were probably masked somewhat by poor QB play on Texas part.

Sure Ewers didn’t throw the ball well at all that day but remember the second half we at least stopped the running compared to the first half. Texas has better backs than KState or Kansas too

@michael13 Yes I agree the D was working better at the Texas game. I just think that they maybe got more credit due to how bad Ewers was at the game. Anyway it doesn’t change how really bad we seemingly are on D right now.

Last year Baylor’s starting quarterback goes down, they beat us. This year K State starting quarterback goes down they beat us. Kansas starting quarterback goes down and they beat us. Are you starting to see a trend? What teams has Bean won against this year?
TE screen left, middle or right side. The dump down when TE lines up left and loops back to help backside blocking is there all year.
Is this phenomenon limit to just osu or gundy. Absolutely not. You seem to not understand that a true backup like your talking really shouldnt have multiple starts against said team. Both bean and howard have started against osu. There were lots of reasons we lost these two games none have two do with the other teams lack of experience at qb.

Jug you don’t know your football enough to know both qb have had multiple starts. Bean is the fastest played on the team. If not for a late td for the frogs they beat them. Know something besides Gundy sucks( you and gumball) KState qb has started against us twice before. He didn’t win either one. Try holding the tail a little higher

Bean has won 2 games as a starter at Kansas. Against South Dakota and us. I know you are going to try to say how good south Dakota is but no.
Howard has a losing record as a starter at K State and two of his wins are against Kansas.
