Tell me in what world do you see “improvement” by Gundy over this time frame? The key here Robert is to maintain or get better. Not take us back to the Les Miles days (at least Miles could win Bedlam).
In 2016 he could’ve went 11-2. Instead, he decided he needed to play down to the level of competition that Central Michigan had and decided to get himself beat. That’s when I was done with him.

When you barely get by average to below average teams and get you’re brains kicked in by anyone with a speck of NFL talent then yes I would call that playing down to the level of competition.
When you have 5-6 guys on you’re offense that went to the NFL. You should probably win a game like that.

Ok, I’m with you on most of this stuff……until the Malzahn deal. He was 39-27 in Conf. That won’t get it done at a place like Auburn. If he was such a good coach, he would’ve landed someplace better than UCF.
