Do you think Gundy is a real good coach? Keep in mind that Gundy record his first 8 seasons is almost identical to Malzahn’s except Gundy was handed a program that had been to 3 straight bowls and Malzahn was handed a program that had just went 0-8 in conference.

All I know is that in 8 seasons at Auburn he had just as many conference titles as Gundy and had more wins against Alabama than Gundy has against OU.
In fact, the longest Malzahn went without beating Alabama was three years in a row. He didn’t have to hope for a rivalry victory or pray the other team would screw up. Where as Gundy loses about six or seven in a row before he finally figures it out

I know. I don’t disagree with you. I think he’s a better coach than Gundy as well. We should really look into hiring him if he has a successful season at UCF this year. I mean…he did coach at Tulsa and helped make them better.
