Yeah ending up at KState is a shocker. I know Tech and Texas were in on him. This one really, really surprises me

This was one I was hoping against hope would decide to stay. Best of luck to him.

Must’ve dropped a bigger bag than both Tech and Texass I guess. One of the guys I actually wanted to keep from last year.

Anything is possible, but that has not been the case when those schools were all involved. I think its more likely that Texas and Tech didnt think he was worth the money and KState did. Again, who knows…but there is far more evidence of Tech and Texas passing on him than there is of KState outbidding those guys

He would have been one of the first to go in my opinion. Stock is high and osu has a small bag.

Huh? He was in Stillwater for one year, and it’s gotten worse every year since. Gleeson did a pretty good job while at OSU

How, with amazing success in the portal, do we lose our best defensive returning starter? Insane. I was very excited about our prospects and portal work, but this one is a major head scratcher.

When we can pay our new QB 7 million for two years? I don’t think the bag is small, yes he likely got a payday, but maybe he just wanted a change of scenery. Crazy loss…IMHO, the one player, all things being equal, we really “needed” to retain. Of course we will retain other good ones and have signed a massive amazing class. So withhold judgment.

Everyone’s entitled to one’s own opinion. He stunk it up. Little to no change to the offense from previous OCs.

Stunk it up……based on what?? The numbers don’t match up boss. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. But if someone says they think water is dry or that the sun is cold……
