Man, I was going to say this, but didn’t want to be a crabapple. Just get rid of eligibility rules at this point. Let them play in the NCAA minor league until they’re 30. Who even cares at this point?

I do think the new eligibility rules are a good step in the right direction. It just needs some tweaks. For example, the medical redshirt should still be available. I also think Olympic redshirts for certain sports (wrestling) should still be available.

If this great freshman class lives up to expectations and gels as a team, we will make some noise in the big dance.

Anyone hear anything about Parsa Fallah and his eligibility? I have mixed feelings about having him back if that is the case. He is a great guy and team player and is a good but not great big man. He is undersized and can’t jump but has fabulous foot work. My concern is that we need to develop our big men and him playing will impede that. Our team should be focused on next year as the freshman will need to develop. The Big 12 is a tough conference to play in.
I expect us to be great next year if we can keep the team together. Winning this year will help with recruiting for sure.
