The Pokes add a former four-star DB with three years of experience.
Hopefully, this will work out better than the last time we had a Miami transfer.

I’m always skeptical when transfers talk about finally being free. Screams victim mentality.
I wouldn’t want to play for Cristobal either, but the U isn’t prison.

170 for a safety is kinda sketchy…if he’s got wheels, I see CB in your future. Not saying it’s impossible to play safety at 170 if one’s tackling skills are on point, but…a 250 lb TE or RB coming at cha full blast.

Would you rather have an experienced safety from Miami? Or an inexperienced freshman safety from UTEP? Because that’s exactly what happened in last year’s portal class. Then people wonder why we went 1-11.
Could mean free from the burden or pressure associated with a mistake and how he’s moved on??? But yeah, that victim and entitled mentality really grates…
Anyone privy to why HCEM signed two more dbs? Just stocking up on available talent or is there a perceived deficiency? Thanks!
