Report: Oklahoma State Parting Ways to Kasey Dunn, Bryan Nardo

Ok, this is pretty much what I was expecting. Can everyone stop whinging now?

Can you stop being controversial now?

Those both sound good with solid reasoning. I think SMU OC would be difficult since they are P4 now, but SMU doesn’t get any TV money for the first 7 years, so not impossible to entice with enough money.

Jim Knowles blended into the same group…

Hey champ,

In what way was anything I said even slightly controversial? Because I don’t set my hair on fire when a college sports team does a bad job?

You think we have the money to challenge SMU? Thanks, that made me laugh. It must be surreal for SMU to be able to openly do what got them the death penalty, but they’re a private institute so they don’t have to divulge what they’re spending.

The Sam Houston DC… interesting. Yeah, grabbing a Texas guy would be smart. The first guy I thought of was Texas State’s HC, but admittedly i don’t know if that’s viable and I am not well versed in the options.

No, because you’ve been wrong on almost every single issue since our extremely lucky win against Arkansas. I used to think Robert28 might be the dumbest person on this forum. Then again, at least he’s learned when to be quiet. Congrats on taking his place :+1:.

The issue regarding money, SMU, as part of their agreement to enter the ACC, does not receive any TV money for the first 7 years. As far as donor money, that’s a completely different matter.

You should see the fact that they aren’t taking money for 7 years as an indication of the money they DO have. SMU is filthy rich. Makes sense for Dallas, which is just filthy. Their enrollment is half of ours but they have $300,000,000 more in endowment.

I said in an early post I wasn’t sure if we could or not. I would like an offense that can actually put up points though :man_shrugging:.

I hear ya. Might as well swing big, right?

It wouldn’t shock me if Gundy grabbed his brother as OC. Outside of him being an OU guy, it actually wouldn’t be a bad hire.

I get that but again, their endowment has nothing to do with their athletic budget. Harvard has an endowment of 40 Billion, but they don’t spend it on sports. Athletic departments have to budget on their own. If there was some huge issue, and needed money from the school, it would have to go through the board of regents.

Fair point — Knowles definitely a much better coach than Nardo. I guess though if it comes down to it and you have a good coach interested and he wants some of his own guys I definitely am okay with that at this point.

Interesting choice….

Hey champ,

You’re wrong about things that don’t even matter like basic football vocabulary. You’re in the tragic position of being so ignorant that you don’t know how ignorant you are.

Speaking of Roberto did he die or something? He’s been MIA since like week 5.

They ain’t letting Mike hire his brother. They’re trying to limit his power not give him more.

And yet you’ve still been wrong on every single thing since the Arkansas game :man_shrugging:. So who’s truly the ignorant one here?

I’m not sure. It’s kind of hard to come back and talk about how great your coach is when he owns the longest losing streak in school history.
