TRANSFER PORTAL TRACKER One of the Cowboys’ leading receivers from this past year is reportedly in search of a new home. Shamar Rigby plans on entering the transfer portal, according to CBS Sports’ Chris Hummer. Rigby was a sophomore this past season. He transferred to Oklahoma State from Purdue, following offensive assistant Cory Patterson. “To be honest, I really just followed him,” said Rigby when asked how he got to Stillwater. Rigby, listed at 6-foot-3, 190 pounds, finished the year third in the receiving yards for the Cowboys with 351 yards. He caught 25 passes, one of which was a touchdown from Zane Flores against Kansas. Rigby also threw a 63-yard touchdown pass to Rodney Fields Jr. on a trick play against Houston. He played in all 12 of Purdue’s games as a freshman in 2024, where he caught 11 passes for 113 yards. It’s obviously been a busy few months for the Cowboys as it pertains to the transfer portal.
