Question: Are there any coaches from North Texas that aren’t coming at this point? Are we turning into a Group of 5 school?

Youve lost 20 straight games against FBS opponents. Havent won a Conf game in 2 years. I dont think id be criticizing any hire at this point.

We got thoroughly embarrassed by Tulsa earlier this year. We had already fallen to G5 status.

Doesn’t mean we need to stay at that level. We need to hire like a power 4 team. Here is hoping that Coach Morris has that covered

We have had the same critics for 4 years. Hopefully Morris gives us peak Gundy years. We haven’t really had a good qb since Rudy They biotched about him too :cowboy_hat_face:

Correct me, but we haven’t had a decent quarterback since Mason. Sanders was good if he wasn’t turning the ball over. So, I agree, OSU hasn’t had a decent quarterback in years.

My question is how good was Mason? His best win was against number 5 TCU in 2015 when they finished 7th in the final ap. You may think he was great but I’m looking for someone who can win the conference or beat OU when they are decent.

But I didn’t see it as a quarterback problem but a head coach problem.
