Well someone is going to figure out that’s a problem fix it and then have a leg up. Perhaps OSU will be one of them.
The job description and requirements changed when NIL was introduced. Gundy wasn’t hired to do those things but as soon as it became the standard it was his job to work for NIL dollars. He didn’t and he got canned for it.

You are 100% correct. Caravan stops. Schmoozing. Glad-handing. You have to be willing to play the game with boosters moreso now than ever before. Youre wasting your time trying to convince guys like @bruce4 of anything like that. Coaches have always had to do stuff like that, so this isnt a new thing. Its even in their contracts about community engagement, booster gatherings and stuff of the like. You dont get to just coach football.
