Six Hot Names in the Offensive Coordinator World

Why no mention of Yurcich? I thought the PistolsFiring guys were big fans.

I would love to have Robinson as the OC and eventually the head coach but he is not leaving the NFL anytime soon.

Well said.

That’s exactly why.

I wish they would say who it is already. They’ve done interviews just like they had done with the DC

I think if he were offered the HC position it would be a real possibility. Or if they could significantly increase his salary and over-pay him as an OC he may actually take it especially if there were assurances he would be the heir apparent.

@Griffin Robinson is making around 2mil right now. In what world do you think OSU is going to “increase his salary” to make him the highest paid coordinator in college football?? Thats crazy talk

If you think Robinson is making $500k a year…youre sadly mistaken

Why would Robinson take a pay cut to come to OSU?

Those are the reasons he won’t come back. He already has a better job. He will probably be an NFL head coach eventually. He doesn’t need the roster turnover, recruiting, tranfer portal mess, NIL, Gundy’s nonsense, probably a pay cut, etc. Z Rob is not a realistic option, which is why it was stated that his inclusion on this list is unserious.

That’s who I want. Kinne has them boys playing!

I was hoping $omeone would bring up dough. HC in CFB make a LOT more than NFL assistants, and plenty of HCs in CFB make even more than NFL HCs. Dudes acting like Zac wouldn’t entertain OC gig at oSu as if he wouldn’t make more money. Esp if they give him HC-in-waiting promise!

@ KetchupSicle Where did you dig up $2 mill per for Robinson? Nothing out there anywhere he’s making that much, LOL.

In fairness I would bet my bottom dollar Dunn did not want the slowest QB in college football as QB1.

You could be right. Gundy doesn’t force change until it’s absolute drastic measures. In other words, you’re saying Gundy got Dunn fired? I have a hard time believing that with OSU only having a top 50 offense one time since Dunn was hired. The fact he remained around for 5 years. Maybe I’m giving Gundy more credit than what it’s worth :man_shrugging:.

He wouldn’t, but I was saying that would be our only sliver of hope to get him, but not a big sliver

Whoever comes in will have to use Gundy’s same old playbook. Will it really matter?
