Keltner was SMU’s primary kicker as a redshirt freshman this past season.

At his age in that picture, wonder who was kicking at oSu? Dan Bailey? Quinn Sharpe? I don’t recall who followed them - Grogan. Did they influence him?
Now, at least one backup kicker.

Pretty wild a kid from Keller, TX had an oSu jersey, but at that age, was he even kicking a football and thinking he wanted to become a kicker? My brother and I were thinking and wanting to play a skill position.

Definitely Dan Bailey, and as a Dallas Cowboy. But fairly sure that’s a Blackmon jersey.

I’m more surprised that we are signing kids from SMU….i have heard that the Ponies alumni have been biting through the NIL money….
I was thinking soccer - wasn’t Bailey soccer befor he began kicking? A lot of kids at that age play soccer…

Yep, on a u6 Solar club soccer team that put out 4 D1 football players (2 WR and 2 K) and a few D1 soccer guys. They won a few games. Later played for FC Dallas academy.
Kicking footballs didn’t start until 6th grade.
He’s been an OSU fan for years. Fired up for what’s next.

I think you’re right, but just kinda odd for a kid in that part of Texas to have an oSu jersey! 
I don’t know man. There are tons of OSU alum and families with OSU ties here in North Central Texas so it’s not surprising to me.
