Don’t expect the Red Raiders to take a step back in 2026.
This one is firmly in the L column.
Yeah… Oregon and Tech are the two almost guaranteed losses. I think we’ll have at least a 30% chance or better to win every other game.
I got this one down as a loss.

Only a 30% chance of winning any more remaining games? I believe you will be pleasantly surprised with the teams success at least a 50 50 chance!
Have a friend who has attended all the practices and more - he indicated the D-Line will be an issue moving forward and he is wanting to see a healthy OL and how quickly they can work and gel together.
30% or better each game. Murray State or whatever is probably a 99%. K-State probably 40-50%. Just saying, we have less than a 30% chance to beat Oregon or Tech. Probably like a 5% chance.
I thought you were saying we only had a 30% chance of winning our remaining games! No one believes we are going to come out with a win against either Oregon or TT. I am hoping for a winning record 7-6 and this is achievable with this coach and team.
So, 6 wins in the regular season? Yeah. Doable, probably.
He’s telling you that now so he can use it as a two-way excuse later. It’s what he does. That’s why he’s always accused of moving the goal post. It’s a safe percentage to say “I told you 30% chance” if we go 2-10. That way he can try and chit on everyone here.
The same principle can apply if we go 10-2. He can say “I told you a 30% chance. See, we exceeded those chances!!!”. It’s a way of having your cake and eating it too. It’s what’s known as strategic hedging. Insulating yourself from being held accountable.
Ask him what record he expects. Ask him for an outcome not involving percentages. I promise you’ll never get any clarity from him
