If we get to see Trent bulldoze people while grinning ear to ear i’ll die a happy man
It’s not going to matter if we don’t have a decent offensive line, or an OC that keeps trying the same thing 30 times in a row.
I think we’re going to see a 3-way equal distribution between Fields, Sesi & Howland to start the season.
Fields has shown the most “game breaking” ability of those 3, but I think it’ll be a tight race all season - especially when you factor in blocking ability.
Hey champ,
I knew this was going to be your hater comment before I even clicked on this link. I could’ve called that shot from space.
You call it a hater comment. I call it being true. Since we have evidence of how it worked out last season with the best running back in the nation returning. Maybe it’s going to change. I don’t know to be quite honest. However, I’m definitely not putting all my eggs in the basket, and getting excited about a running back group knowing how inconsistent we’ve been on the offensive line since Wickline left. Sorry if that hurts your feelings.
Hey Champ,
The same Wickline that flamed out after he left? Your weird idolization of Wickline is one of your dumber repeated arguments.
Yep, that same Wickline that gave us consistency at the OL positions every single year he was at OSU? Yea…I’d like to have something like that again eventually . I guess you can call me “weird” for wanting consistent OL play again
. Then you have the audacity to call it dumb
.
“Maybe Howland will spend 2025 truck-sticking defenders while Fields jump cuts them out of their cleats.” LOVE this! I don’t care who does it or how…I just want to WIN!
GO POKES!!
Hey champ,
Dickey was consistently good for KSU for a long time as well. Is he a great line coach?
Was Wickline good or did he benefit from amazing offensive coordinators? If he was good, why didn’t he succeed anywhere else? On top of that, Wickline was a lying, vindictive little cretin. We’re better off without him.
Did AJ Green transfer back to Ark?
I honestly don’t care who the OL coach is as long as he’s providing consistency. Is that something too difficult for you to comprehend? Dickey was here for six seasons. Out of those six seasons he had two where it was above average. The 2021 season was okay, but not great. In 2020, 2022, and 2024 we couldn’t even punch through a piece of paper if we tried.
Really? We’re better off without consistent line play? I’m sure the OC actually worked with Wickline and they PLANNED AND PREPARED unlike Dunn and Dickey did with each other this past season. If that’s the case, then I’m looking at the CEO (aka Gundy) as to why that issue was never resolved in a timely manner.
Dickey’s career at K State was decent. However, you should probably keep in mind that K State runs an almost completely different offense as well. Maybe next time hire a guy that’s in tune with what you do offensively? I can’t say that everything is Dickey’s fault, but the fact of the matter is he shares some blame in the regression of his offensive line. Unless he expressed concern and was totally ignored by the CEO that thinks he knows everything.
If he did, then you can’t blame him after the circus of last season.
He did. Lol you are still going to watch every game this season too.
After our 38-14 shellacking at home to an average WV team I spent my weekends doing something constructive and positive. No point in watching the game when you know the coaching staff won’t change anything until it’s too late.
So you aren’t going to watch any game this season?
I’ll watch the Oregon game as good measure for what I might be able to expect .
