Who wins MVP, who gets the game ball and more from OSU’s win over Texas.
I thought OSU would need more sacks to win this game against Texas. Thanks for providing the qb hurry numbers. I couldn’t find the number, but knew it was a lot. Between the batted balls at the line of scrimmage and the qb hurries, Ewers never got comfortable and that was key. Pokes will need to get after the qb again this week and contain their elusive running back.
It was great to see Green show up this weekend. When Braydon is out or available Green must be a big part of the game plan. He is, in my opinion, the better receiver thus far this year.
Cowboys rallied as a collective group to get this win. I credit this to the recruits we have been getting the last 4 years for sure. We have depth! #70 Woodard did a heck of a job competing and doing all he could to wall off that big DT for Texas. Another name I would like to mention is #3 Cam Smith who had a solid performance at corner. This young man did what had to be done with his opportunity that has been given to him. Good Win, this week presents another opportunity for our Cowboys to prove they are worthy of another visit to Jerry’s World. Gotta avoid that Cat Scratch fever!
Ewers played so scared of getting hit that we didn’t need the sacks. He was bailing on plays when no one was around.
Underutilizing Green for whatever reason is a big part of the TCU loss. jmho
I believe Green is our best offensive weapon.
(Not related to Green, but the old Eucker line from Major League, “He led the league in most offensive categories, including nose hair…”)
GO POKES!!!

It is absolutely imperative that we recruit players that can and will be developed over the first two or so years, for the most part. This, Gundy has been able to do better than most!!

I think Sanders’s throwing strength declined as the game went on. He wasn’t completing it much to anyone later.
He did seem a bit pensive, but not nearly as much as Ewers!!
If that guy doesn’t get his strength from that mullet, ala Sampson, when you miss wide open receivers, you should get a buzz cut!!
Well, the TCU game is what I was referring to. Sanders was fire vs. UT.
