Gundy had plenty to say ahead of a big one on Saturday.
Maybe Gundy was talking about the O line challenges to explain why he has was conservative in the ISU game. But for me, running the ball repeatedly when the O line is relatively still weak is not logical.
Maybe it’s to get extra reps against a solid defense to give the OL a realistic challenge of what they willing be dealing with in the future. Still though, I would agree doesn’t make much sense. Keep taking advantage of the middle of the field since the ISU defense left it open for much of the game.
