It’s not the entire reason, but it’s a symptom of the major issue. I guarantee you other programs that are of a lesser caliber than us, don’t struggle to find enough guys to play an actual game. Extreme example: Nebraska can’t even touch us right now. They are bottom of the barrel in the Big 10 right now. Have been since they made the move. But they have enough guys to nationally televise their “Red-White” game. Which increases exposure. Which improves recruiting. Which ups the odds of development and wins. Thus the pursuit of conference titles. Which then increases donor money, ticket sales, facility upgrades…the entire arms race bent towards winning at the highest levels possible.

Money Travis, money. I will agree we should have a coaches show for OSU. Who buys that ? The school or donors ? Nebraska is the only school in their state. No one to compete against
I doubt they will ever reach the height they were before they left. Only thing that tells me is Osborn wasn’t exactly squeaky clean. They made a bad move leaving. Texas has ruined what ? 3 conferences now. ATM has surpassed them
I can’t see the point in having an all out spring game and getting a couple with ACL’s

So what’s going to be the excuse once OU leaves the Big 12? Oh I know!!! “Well….Baylor is in a football state and Cincinnati has a large state population to choose from!!!”. The excuses are never ending.

Oline is a problem with most big 12 teams if not all.
I mean ksu had a guy get 6 sacks in one game.
We increased our sacks when we got to big 12 game.
How did the ou game end.

Don’t like oSu went to Alabamas coaching clinic or anyone from the XII. How does this benefit Oklahoma State Football? Alabama will benefit from this in THE conference that dont want oSu to be a part of, making twice as much revenue.

It benefits Gundy because he gets an hour to learn (hopefully) from the greatest college football coach in history.
Thats funny we never said he sucked.
One thing I have said about this coaching staff, is they have been staying for more then 1 or 2 years.
So dickey is getting better despite the hardships.

All you’ve ever talked about is how he wasn’t successful at Texas or WV. He was the only OL coach in the Gundy era to last as long as the last four OL coaches combined. He’s also the only OL coach in the Gundy era to give us a first round pick on the OL and the most lineman drafted period.

Wickline quit coaching before he left here. He thought he had reached his ceiling and offer’s would come. They did, but he quit recruiting here before he left, Texas ?!?! And they sucked balls !! For two or three years until he went to WV and he tanked there. !! Now where is your golden boy Joey
