To help with any confusion: These are valuations based on real tracked NIL sources. The actual numbers are being kept private.

I like this little disclaimer that says you don’t actually know what you’re talking about.

Perhaps you can come up with something better? If you can’t, then I’d suggest not trolling the ones that do :+1:. Indiana Chump……Indiana.

Hey champ,

The guy right before you said your Indiana numbers were wrong based on a different “estimate”. Just admit you don’t know what you’re talking about. I’d love to know NIL numbers. I’m interested to know, but…

1.) It’s all complete estimation. No one knows. Based on how they make these estimations, you get completely different results.
2.) They’ll look at these school collectives. These NILs don’t have to go through these collectives.

So anything you look at is completely unreliable.

Maybe you should read again what he stated. My numbers were off by one. Not too much of a major difference. Anyway, the entire point is we’re taking the information we CAN get and going from there. It still doesn’t take away from the fact that from the information we can obtain, that Indiana’s NIL situation isn’t great, and they’re showing how much coaching matters. In the meantime, we return all our starters and can’t win a conference game.

Why don’t you just admit we’ve had pure chitty coaching and football this season? You’ve been really quiet since the Arkansas game. I understand though. Kind of difficult to take up for the coaching staff and program as a whole when you’re on the longest losing streak in program history so far :+1:.

Hey champ,

I think I’ve said numerous times that the coaching isn’t good, the coordinators should and probably will be fired, and that this season is the most disappointing season we’ve probably ever had. That has nothing to do with you not knowing what you’re talking about and talking out of your butt. Off by one? Did you look at the link he posted? It shows Indiana way ahead of OSU. You’re incapable of taking in information that doesn’t agree with your preconceived notions. Your brain is broken. Push the keyboard away, pay your bills, touch grass.

Hey champ,

In fact, I can barely screen cap them on the same screen.

It’s not that I think one is more correct than the other, but anyone trying to use NIL numbers to make a point is just talking out their butt. For you, this is as natural as breathing. You don’t question any information that agrees with your opinions. You’re a low information person and nothing you say is anything but noise.

Here fool,

Since you believe whatever you read on the Internet, this scholar of a sports journalist says we’re #6 in NIL and it’s 247Sports! He cites things like the Wellness Center (how is that NIL? Journalism! Kamala Harris is neck and neck with Donald Trump!). If you keep searching, maybe you can find one where we’re #1 in NIL. That would show that we really suck, so it’s probably true!

GOURD DOMMIT, GUNDEE! YOU HAVE MORE NIL THAN OHIO STATE, ALABAMA, TENNESSEE, AND MICHIGAN!!!11??? FIRE DUNN, NARDO, DICKEY, GUNDY, WEIBERG, SHRUM, RE-HIRE YURCICH SO YOU CAN FIRE HIM AGAIN!!! THROW TO THE TIGHT END, DUMMY! YOU HABE 5000 RETURNING ATARTERS!!!111!!! BRING BACK LES MILES AND MONKEN!!!

“ Gundy, who is set to begin his 20th season as head coach at Oklahoma State next Saturday, said that Oklahoma State spent around $2.7 million on NIL deals for players last season.”

“ BLOOMINGTON – Indiana could be days from announcing its next football coach, and that person is expected to be supported with significant NIL resources to build the Hoosiers’ roster.
Per a source with first-hand knowledge, Indiana is expected to be able to support its next coach at least $3 million for the name, image and likeness space. ”

You’ve missed the entire point COMPLETELY Chump. Scroll up to my first post, and see what the entire main point was. Better yet, I’ll just go ahead and tell you now. I’ve heard every excuse in the book for why we can’t win. I’m pointing out the fact that since 2021 we’ve spent more on NIL than Indiana. That’s not my opinion, but strictly a fact. Indiana was spending less money than us UP UNTIL THIS YEAR on their FOOTBALL PROGRAM.

All I’ve heard from yours truly (Michael and Robert) is that NIL is one of the reasons why we can’t win. Fine then, let’s take a look at Indiana as a comparison. Why is Indiana all of a sudden winning? Now, why is OSU all of a sudden losing? I would suggest the largest factor is COACHING (which was the entire point of my first post :man_shrugging:).

Curt Cignetti is in YEAR ONE at Indiana with a similar NIL budget, 30 new players, and a program that’s been traditionally bad for most of its existence. Yet, he’s been able to get them to 10-0 and currently #5 in the nation. It takes a lot of work to get that many new players to gel together with a new staff with a minimal amount of time, and be in a great position.

Gundy is in YEAR TWENTY and returns practically his entire experienced team. A program that’s been consistent in winning since then. Yet, Gundy is 3-7 (0-7 in conference) and his only P4 “win” was against a team that needed to beat themselves for him. He only had one change in his staff (Randolph) who is terrible by the way.

I didn’t put the 247 source as OSU spending 6th in NIL because I knew that wasn’t correct. So no, I don’t just post “anything” to meet my agenda you blundering idiot. Maybe next time instead of going on a temper tantrum like a toddler, and making multiple irrelevant posts. Try to actually read the CONTEXT of my first post. Now get in your car, drive to Fayetteville, and start thanking Sam Pitman for giving Gundy is only P4 win of the year :+1:.

Any NIL discussion probably needs to be put on hold until after next spring. There is a good chance that the whole landscape of college football will be different after then. Also given the current landscape of college football being the wild wild west NIL, whatever numbers you think they are, is just part of the player compensation equation.

Hey champ,

The posts weren’t irrelevant. They show that you’re irrelevant.

No, they show that your blatant arrogance and prideful ignorance blocks you from staying on point. Not only did you miss the entire context of the point I was making. You further replied with multiple posts making a complete A55 of yourself to the ones who did understand. If you suck at playing the game, then I’d suggest you don’t try to play at all :+1:.

Hey champ,

You can’t make a point if your underlying data is nonsense. Go ahead and keep acting like you know something, though.

Weird, you admit you don’t know where we rank in NIL spending, yet have made post after post about the fact we aren’t competing in the NIL race with other teams in our conference. So which is it Champ? Are we underfunding NIL, or do you have ZERO idea about our NIL spending?

No one knows how much NIL we have. I think it’s safe to say schools like Texas, Texas A&M, USC, Oregon, Ohio State, and Michigan are blowing us out of the water. I suspect OU doesn’t have as much money as they want, but is probably head and shoulders above us. I might have mentioned common sense generalities like that.

In conference, I suspect it’s closer, but there could be outliers. We know our recruiting budget was on the lower end in conference, but those are reported numbers that come through the university allocation. NIL is different. I wouldn’t be terribly surprised by our ranking in the Big XII no matter where it was from top to bottom. If you told me we were top 3 or bottom 3 in conference, I’d guess bottom 3, though.

My entire point was up until this point we’ve spent more money or equal as Indiana in football. Yet, they’re 10-0 and we’re 3-7. They had to restructure most of their team, and we didn’t. That’s the difference between competent coaching and excused coaching. I also just provided you the numbers. Of course, I wouldn’t expect you to understand that. Because to do that you first have to understand what the main point (idea) is in the first place :+1:.

Question who funds NIL? Or said another way who provides NIL $.

Generally the same donors who are funding the Athletic Department.

If we’re Top 3 (or even in the middle) of the conference, then we should be firing the coaches for their coaching malfeasance. If we’re bottom three, we should be firing the coaches as well as the administration staff in the athletic office, because they clearly don’t understand how to raise money which is part and parcel of the job.

Hey champ,

No. You didn’t provide squat. You provided a nameless source at Indiana that said they were getting a $3 million minimum and could have more. I do believe Gundy probably has a good idea of OSU’s NIL, so I don’t doubt that total.

I believe Indiana and Oklahoma State are probably in roughly the same bracket, but I don’t know. Indiana could have twice our NIL. Looking at the transfer portal, it looks like they have two 4 star QB transfers on roster. That’s got to be pretty expensive, but they could be getting a deal.
