‘(Presley is) a legit All-American.’

After the game, Gundy did not answer questions about his Monday comments or the end of the bowl streak.

This is cowardly.

Bowman will start next Saturday. “He gives us the best chance to win”.

Hey Mike…take a lesson from Brian Kelly who at least apologized for the sh*t product he put on the field last night and took accountability.

Random thought: where has Rodney Fields been?

Are we saving his redshirt? If so, is that really a wise thing to do nowadays? What are the odds any player hangs around five years at the same school? As Gundy said, Presley is different; he’s the exception.

Mike are you trying to give back that ridiculous compensation package, the Lewis Field name change or the statue?

“ “Well, you’re not going to change what you do, right?” Gundy said. ”

:point_up:This is why Gundy will NEVER win another conference title. I’ve said it before on the forum. He has a history of doing less with more as well. Again in 2013, 2016, 2017, and 2024. He’ll find a way to finish third or lower in the conference. Even when Texas sucked for a long time. He still had trouble finishing in the top 2 with a majority of his team returning.

I don’t want to hear about the NIL excuses either. Last season, OSU was 45th out of P4 schools in NIL expenditures. Indiana came in at 63rd. Guess who is a 10-0 top 10 team right now? Guess who is 3-7? This only goes to show how much of a craptastic coaching job it’s been this season.

Yea….some not the players can be blamed. However, those players are reflection of the coaching. Coaching has been absolutely nonexistent this season. Both Dunn and Nardo need to be gone. Hire the UNLV OC, and find a reliable DC from the G5 ranks. Stop hiring frauds!!!

Not sure why it even matters? You’re not going to a bowl game anyway :man_shrugging:.

Fields should play the last two games. I think he’s played in 2 already and now the 2 last ones and will still keep his redshirt.

“(Smith) went in and made some plays,” Gundy said. “He made a mistake. He didn’t need to run out and throw it away. He could’ve thrown the ball away, and then he got behind the chain and then couldn’t get the ball past the line of scrimmage and took a big loss. But that’s what happens when you play young players. He’ll learn from that and be better. But overall, I thought he functioned pretty good.” — How is that any different from Bowman except the last sentence? Anyone? Bueller, Bueller?

Gundy has gotten comfortable, and it shows.

IMHO…the most egregious examples of Gundy’s coaching malpractice this season and further evidence of his childish self-righteousness nature?

  1. No solutions to the problems on the field
  2. No effort to discover the potential of players on the bench

Would ANY of keep a medical Provider who demonstrated similar characteristics?

He’s BEEN comfortable since the rollover was added to the contract. Everyone is JUST NOW waking up to it because this season has been such :poop:.

“Well you’re not going to change what you do, right?” Gundy said. “You don’t change systems in midstream.” That’s what I think when I smash my thumb with a hammer, keep doing it. Better yet, maybe I should change up and use a screwdriver to put that screw in.

I guess throwing ad many interceptions as touchdown is more acceptable than taking a loss and eventually punting the ball :man_shrugging:.

I am such a loser, I didnt even know we had a game yesterday. I couldnt have wached it anyway, my electrict was turned off for not paying my bill.

Too bad Gundy couldn’t field a winning team. Otherwise Pressley might have had a shot at being an All-American.

Hey champ,

Where are you getting your NIL numbers? I don’t think you know what you’re talking about.

He’s a little off on Indiana’s spending, but OSU is 46th in spending outspending Colorado, Cincinnati, UCF, and Houston–all of which are outperforming the Cowboys. NIL Collectives – Power 5 Schools – NCAA Athlete Revenue Sharing, Scholarships & NIL Collectives by School.
