It’s definitely not a study, but know the difference from the top half to bottom half of most schools for nil deals. Most starter nil deals at OSU are half the monthly amt other big12 schools and are a qtr for some. ASU OSU as an example are equivalent in the trenches. ASU is one of the lowest in big12 too. Cinn and Houston are the 2 I have no idea on.
The really sad thing is that when Texas and OU left then the road to the conference championship and to the Top 12 teams in the playoffs should have been paved with OSU Orange. We had the best RB in the country returning, as well as the majority of the starting offense. Now, we probably won’t even make the Alamo Bowl or the Meineke Car Care Bowl. Gordon will leave. Flores will leave. We will be stuck with Rangel, who is just as much of a train wreck as Bowman. He stuck with Sanders way too long instead of kicking him to the 3rd string Ole Miss team long ago. This season is over. Next season will be worse simply because Gundy can’t make the necessary changes. Gundy will be there for another 20 years without much more to show for it. The University views him as a legacy coach similar to Snyder. Unfortunately, that is not the way to win ball games.

Are we acting like Sanders was terrible now? We sure missed him the season he went down to injury. We went from undefeated to terrible. I know he technically played in our first loss, but he was clearly banged up pretty badly and there were reports he was going to miss that game. Arguably the biggest game he played was the Fiesta Bowl which he absolutely lit up.
He had some inconsistency and turnover issues at times, but he wasn’t a tomato can. He’s way better than our options this year.

We needed one more year of Spencer, but Dunn and Gundy screwed that up. If we had Spencer last year, it could’ve been 1. SS. 2. Zane. 3. Rangel.
Then this year Zane and Rangel could have battled for QB1. No Bowman. No Gunnar.
