Gundy on schemes, freshmen safeties and more.

“It’s a very common day-to-day for me to look at where everything’s at and to continue to try to work toward the goal, which is try to find a way to win on Saturday.”

You haven’t found a way to win since September 14h, and I highly doubt you’re going to after losing by three touchdowns on your own field this last weekend. Especially after you said what you reviewed looked “okay”. If you believe everything is okay. Then I fully expect TCU to score somewhere around 38-48 points while your team struggles to get past 20.

We’re aware the dynamic of the college football landscape has “changed” as of recent times.

We have a good hearted, long tenured, Mostly successful coach who wants to do the right thing, I and most of us fans collectively can TELL he wants to do whats right. ( Kind preface. )

We can also tell when you and your decision makers have no idea whats wrong.
I will say only this aspect of the game that I believe is kicking our butts right now.

All of the teams in the big 12 I’m aware of that use statistical tracking, and play calling in a real and provable money ball sense are winning right now.
I believe these teams that are using their math to win ( numbers game. ) calling plays that have worked against the formations. I just think they have collected enough data for it to work now.

That process works amazingly well against teams like ours. Then you plug in someone trying to run our RPO, and can’t look past 2nd look, it doesn’t work.
Leaving our running backs just getting hamburgered by a Defense who knows we aren’t a long threat always.

Treat it like a JOB Mike. If you have a standard of expectation that the players aren’t holding up to, FIRE THEM.
Same goes for all the staff that is’nt holding up their end of the bargain, whatever that is.

Or, Go home Gundy. I am one of your biggest fans as a coach. I wanted my 6’5’’ 15 year old to play for you after the I’m a man, I’m 40 rant. ( saw it live, wanted my son to play then. )

Its OK to hand the reigns to someone who wants to take on this new world. You and Kyle Whittingham can go on a cruise!

Time for ringy Gundy to saddle up and ride out with his drovers to another range. His players have become barn sour, not wanting to play football. Who can blame them, with a coach more concerned about receiving more head bonks from his cattle.

Gundy’s nonchalance, his worn out gameplan, his lack of ingenuity, his insecure behavior have produced a lackluster team. Gundy’s approach to football os antiquated, stale and predictable.

OSU football would thrive wih a coach of Indiana ilk.

Gundy appears on the sideline as if not focused on winning, but more on laughing his way to the bank with 7.5M and which hideous toupe to don for the next ho-hum game.

Ride out cowboy. We will look for your spurs you lost some time ago and hand them off to a coach eager to win.

I saw on my Google feed that Dr. Shrum released a statement that Gundy’s criticisms were not appreciated. Well done

I read Dr Shrum’s statement and if you didn’t like Gundy’s apology, like many on this board, then I doubt you will be all that enthralled with her statement either. could be wrong. Go Pokes

He needs to stop talking.

Dunn and Nardo should conduct all team related interviews.

I’m betting it would be a Harris word salad extravaganza.
