After missing the first free throw, Newman HAS to intentionally miss the second to not allow TCU to set up for something like that.
Perhaps but what are the odds a full court heave gets tipped right into their hands for a perfect shooting motion? It’s ridiculous. I feel particularly bad for Dean because he carried us to a winning position only for that BS to happen.
Outside of the free throws, Newman missed SO many wide open shots tonight. We’ve improved a lot these last few games and, despite having no shot at a post-season, I guess I still care and this loss sucks.
